The week leading up to this session was loads and loads of rain! I was so nervous the evening we planned for these photos would be a flood. But wouldn’t you know it, the heavens opened up for a gorgeous, glowy sunset over Stanton Lake, home of this sweet family!
There’s always a bit of a struggle when it comes to shooting engagement sessions in this late-winter / mid-spring time in Indiana. First of all, everything is still pretty brown and ‘dead-looking’ but we’re starting to see little sprigs of green popping up! But the worst part is how unpredictable the temperature can be! We can have 70 and sunny in early March and then cold and windy at the end of April. Well, guess which one we had? YUP — cold and windy.
